Why These Units Are Marked Down
Usually one of three reasons. It is a prior model year — a 2024 build sitting on the lot in 2026 is still a brand-new trailer, but the sticker year makes buyers hesitate. It is an unpopular color. Or we over-ordered a size. None of those affect how the trailer hauls. What we will never do is put a damaged or repaired unit on clearance without saying so in the listing and to your face. A discount on this lot means a discount on price, not on condition.
The Warranty Does Not Change
This is the part people get wrong about clearance. A discounted new trailer carries the same factory warranty as a full-price one, and coverage generally starts from your purchase date once it is registered, not from the build date. Compare that against a used unit, where manufacturer warranties are typically issued to the original owner and are not transferable. So a clearance unit at $11,000 with full coverage is often a better position than a three-year-old used unit at $9,500 with none — worth doing the math before you decide which page to shop.
What Is Usually Here
Clearance stock rotates, but it tends to be heavier units — equipment trailers, dump trailers and goosenecks — because those sit longest. If you need 16,000 lb or more of capacity and do not care what year is on the paperwork, this is the page to watch. Lighter utility and car hauler units show up here less often, because they sell through at full price. When one does appear it usually goes in days rather than weeks.
